Cyclists Vs. My 1999 Civic

After hearing about the brouhaha over Tony Kornheiser's recent comments that "driver's should run cyclists off the road", and Lance Armstrong's retort calling Kornheiser a "punk-ass chump" and a "douchebag", I've decided to weigh in on the matter.

To be brief, here's how I look at the rules of the road between bikes and cars:

Cars should always be considerate to bikes.

Bikes are more vulnerable than automobiles, and cycling is an excellent mode of transportation. Its affordable, healthy and environmentally friendly.

Now that I've said that...

When I'm coming home at 5:30 on a friday and some asshole is on a bike riding down the middle of my lane (as opposed to the shoulder) on a 40mph road going 15mph, I feel it should be understood I'm gonna lay on my horn.

And if the horn doesn't fix the issue of this individual holding me up from Carr Friday Night Pizza Night, a "love tap" might do the trick.

What I'm saying is, bikers should always get the automobile benefit of the doubt, but just don't be stupid about it.

Ill be considerate to you, Mr. Biker, especially since my 1999 civic, the teeny-tiny automobile that it is, will maul you and your bike 100 times out of 100. So just don't be inconsiderate of me and the pepperoni, pineapple and spicy italian sausage pizza I have waiting at home and just pull over out of my way.

Seems easy and fair, right?

LPS-Nation, any one have any thoughts???
